The Centre provides the most advanced and comprehensive service for:

Fertility treatment, whether for men or women (ICSI, IVF, GIFT) testicular biopsy and sperm recovery (PESA, TESA) freezing of sperm, embryo, eggs and tissue, assisted hatching, blastocyte culture and more recently, embryo biopsy for genetic "sorting out " of gender, either male or female chromosomal analysis for major abnormalities such as Down's syndrome and molecular abnormalities, for example Thalassemia.

Gynaecological surgery, mainly for keyhole surgery via laparoscope to remove the uterus, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies, adhesions and burning of scatterd endometriotic pathological lesions with the use of laser. Hysteroscopy looks inside the uterus for diagnosis or to operate by burning the lining to treat excessive bleeding, (endometrial ablation) also of fibroids and polypi. Use of special tape to improve bladder function to cure stress incontinence, (urethra-slingoplasty, TVT).

More recently using pelvic mesh to support and repair any vaginal prolapse. All major and extensive gynecological operations for cancer cases, which may involve bowels or bladder.

Maternity for high risk and multiple pregnancies with prenatal diagnosis, amniocentesis and detailed ultrasound scan

(3-D) for normalities, and pain-free labour via epidural service.

Genetic apart from the pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) mentioned earlier, we carry out examination of amniotic cells and blood cells for chromosomal analysis and soon specific tests for tumor recognition.

Gynecology Services:

Ad – GFC offers the latest techniques of keyhole surgery, such as removal of diseased uterus, or diseased ovary also with the use of laser allowing the patient to go home the following day. Treatment for inability control urine (TVT).
